Point of Sale Solutions of New England ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through possone.net, how we use it, and how we protect it.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us:
- Contact form: your name, business name, email and/or phone, type of business, number of locations, current POS and processor, what you're interested in, and your message.
- Support form: your name, business name, email and/or phone, the system that needs help, how urgent it is, and a description of the problem.
- Merchant statements: if you request a free statement review, the statement files you upload.
We don't use advertising trackers or analytics cookies, and we don't build profiles of visitors.
How we use it
- To respond to you, prepare a recommendation or quote, and follow up on your request.
- To open and track support requests and get the right person working on them.
- To prepare a processing-rate comparison from your merchant statement.
We don't sell, rent or trade your information, and we don't use it for anything unrelated to your request.
Merchant statements
Statements you upload go directly to our private, encrypted storage, not to an email inbox. We use them only to prepare your rate comparison, never share them, and delete them automatically after 90 days.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run this website and our business: website hosting and secure storage, our help-desk and ticketing system, and text and email notifications so urgent requests reach us quickly. They process your information only to provide those services to us. If you ask us to compare or set up payment processing or a POS system, we share only the details needed with the partner you choose, and only with your go-ahead.
Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and running. This page and our home page also load a font from Google Fonts.
How long we keep it
- Merchant statements: deleted automatically after 90 days.
- Contact and support details: kept as long as needed to serve you as a prospect or customer, or as required for our business records.
Security
Information is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored in systems with restricted access. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information you've sent us, or to stop contacting you. Just email or call us using the details below.
Children
This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
